David Warner is one of the most dangerous and adept opening batsmen to have ever played the game. Warner has been a regular feature in the Australian side since his debut against South Africa in the year 2009. He has now announced his comeback on the international stage in style, after serving a year-long ban for ball-tampering.

In the 26th match of the current edition of the World Cup, Warner registered his 16th ODI century and accumulated 166 runs before being dismissed. The southpaw became the first player in the history of the World Cup with two scores in excess of 150; he had scored 178 in the previous edition against Afghanistan.

Also, Warner became the first cricketer to score 150 or more against 6 different oppositions in the history of ODI cricket.
