#3 Lasith Malinga

Lasith Malinga, the Sri-Lankan pacer was draft by Mumbai Indians for USD 350,000 in the inaugural edition of IPL. Malinga is the highest wicket-taker in the history of IPL, scalping 154 wickets. He was known for his variation of slower balls.
Later on, he was synonymous with Mumbai's success, across editions. His last IPL appearance came against Rising Pune Supergiant in 2017. He continues to be an integral part of the Mumbai setup, as he is the current bowling coach.
Malinga has been phenomenal both for his national squad as well as for Mumbai Indians. Currently, he's finding it hard to make a comeback to his national team. Malinga will be in the history books for sure, owing to his death bowling.
