#2 Ross Whiteley
On 23 July 2017, Worcestershire’s Ross Whiteley smashed six sixes in an over against Yorkshire at Headingley, Leeds during the T20 Blast.
Worcestershire were chasing a massive target of 234 in 20 overs to win the contest. And, in the 16th over of the innings, 28-year-old Whiteley clobbered left-arm spinner Karl Carver for six sixes in as many deliveries.
Despite Whiteley’s heroics, Worcestershire ended up losing the match by 37 runs as they were restricted to 196 for 7. Whiteley was dismissed for 65 off 26 balls.
In his 32-minute stay at the crease, he hit eight sixes apart from two fours. He was eventually caught off the bowling of David Willey.
Earlier, Willey was the star of the show for Yorkshire with the bat. He blazed his way to 118 from 55 balls, hitting nine fours and eight sixes at a strike rate of 214.54.
