During the first Test, Australia had a lead of 159 runs after the first innings. The Australian batsmen were trying to score fast runs, and Steve Smith was dismissed for a duck in the same attempt. They ended up thrashing England by 338 runs with Mitchell Johnson ending the match with eight wickets and more than a hundred runs.
