Retaining Pawan Negi using the Right to Match (RTM) card was one of the biggest blunders made by Royal Challengers Bangalore in this year's auction.

Negi had become a vastly over-rated player in the IPL ever since he was bought for a whopping sum of 8.5 crores by Delhi Daredevils.

He has failed to perform on a number of occasions which has let the team down.

Negi earned a national call-up on the back of impressive performances for Chennai Super Kings.

He has played a single match for India against the United Arab Emirates where he picked up a single wicket.

Negi has played two matches this season and has scored just three runs and has taken a solitary wicket.

If Negi continues to under-perform, 2018 might surely be his last IPL.
