Amit Mishra is regarded as one of the finest leg-spinners that India has ever produced. The leggie made his ODI debut for Team India way back in 2003. After playing only two games in a tri-series tournament in Bangladesh, the leg spinner was left out for 6 years until he made an ODI comeback in 2009.

Heavy competition in the form of Harbhajan Singh and Anil Kumble is the reason why Amit Mishra couldn't regularly fit into the squad.
