Mahendra Singh Dhoni is probably the best India captain that lead the national team in all the formats of the game. The Jharkhand Dynamite has made his debut way back in 2004 in a ODI series against Bangladesh. After being dismissed for a duck, his career graph could only go upwards and there is no looking back.

The man has achieved everything in cricket be it the 2007 T20 World cup triumph or the 2011 50 Over World Cup win at home or the Champions trophy triumph in 2013 in England. Not to forget 3 IPL trophies makes him the most successful cricketer to play the game of Cricket.

In a career span of more than 15 years, M.S Dhoni has scored more than 15,000 International runs across all formats of the game. He retired from Test Cricket in 2014 and stepped down from the captaincy in limited overs format in 2017.

Despite being relived from captaincy pressure, M.S has not been at his best with the bat in the International stage. Age is certainly a factor and with 2019 World Cup being his last appearance in an International tournament, he would want to be on the winning side and most probably it is expected that he would call it a day from International cricket this year.
