#4. 1st ODI at Mumbai, January 14, 2020
Tuesday was the fourth instance of Zampa dismissing Kohli in limited-overs matches within a year. The Indian captain took on the leg-spinner, hitting him for a six. However, Zampa had his revenge soon enough.
In the 32nd over, Kohli drove a full ball from Zampa straight back at the bowler, who gleefully took a sharp catch. It was a massive moment in the match not only because the Indian captain was back in the hut for 16, but also since Kohli had come in at number four, leaving a weaker lower-order exposed.
India were 156 for 4 when Kohli was dismissed, and could never recover from the deadly blow. Despite a few cameos down the order, they were rolled over for 255. Dominating centuries from openers Aaron Finch and David Warner then led the visitors to a crushing 10-wicket victory.
As for Zampa, he had once again won the battle against Kohli. Can the Indian captain hit back at Rajkot?
