Suryakumar Yadav
He played for the Kolkata Knight Riders earlier but Suryakumar Yadav represented the Mumbai Indians this year. He was a rock at the top of the order for the Mumbai side under Rohit Sharma, finding boundaries with fluency.
He had not been getting more opportunities at the top of the order, but under Rohit, he thrived in the new role scoring more than 500 runs this season. Striking at the rate of more than 133, he made sure that Mumbai got good starts even though they weren't able to do well this season.
