KL Rahul carried the burden of Kings XI Punjab right from the first game of the season to the last game on his own shoulders.

He not only was the top scorer for their team but won them many games single-handedly this season.
Not to forget he scored the fastest IPL fifty of this season in the very first game of Kings XI Punjab that was against Delhi Daredevils.
Rahul scored 652 runs this season prior to this game and with Gayle and Finch being dismissed within the first three overs, the responsibility was again on Rahul to pull them out of the trouble.
The elegant right-hander started the innings with a boundary through the covers. However, he remained cautious after Gayle and Finch departed in the second and third over respectively.
On the last ball of the fourth over, Rahul misjudged an in-swinger by leaving the ball that cut back in to rattle the stumps.
