Kaul hasn't taken a single ODI wicket yet

Siddharth Kaul has been a consistent performer in the domestic circuit for some years now. He has also been a regular in Sunrisers Hyderabad in the IPL and has earned a reputation of being a fantastic death bowler. But unfortunately, he hasn't been able to repeat his terrific IPL form in international cricket.

Kaul, who made his debut against England in the T20I series, hasn't had a good start to his international career. He went wicket-less in the ODI series against England and wasn't picked in the squad for the Asia Cup.

However, Kaul replaced Hardik Pandya in the team and was included in the playing XI against Afghanistan where he gave away 58 runs in 9 overs without picking up any wicket. With such poor returns, it is highly unlikely that the selectors will retain Kaul in the team.
