Yuvraj Singh has remained as one of the star players of India, especially in the T20 format. It is the format in which he can be brutally dangerous as he prefers to slog every ball he faces. This was the main reason for which Kings XI Punjab bought him for 3 years from 2008 to 2010. His 6 sixes and his home connection with Punjab also favoured him in playing for his home side in IPL.

Yuvi smashed the total of 69 fours and 49 sixes during these 3 years, along with scoring 894 runs for his side. But Punjab’s team management was not quite happy with his performances as they released him for the next edition of IPL. However, they again bought him in the year 2018 just to release him after a string of poor performances.
