With the termination of Pune Warriors India in 2014, he was acquired by Chennai Super Kings for 1.5 crores. Due to lack of consistency, he found no takers this season. Not many would have known that Pandey was a part of Pune Warriors India.Ishwar Pandey has probably been one of the faded stars of IPL. From getting a national call-up to going nowhere, he has experienced it all. The medium pacer was roped in by Pune Warriors India in 2013 after he had an impressive season playing for Madhya Pradesh in the Ranji trophy.
