Geoffrey Boycott is often described as "one of the greatest opening batsmen that the game has known.” Geoffrey is the seventh most ever capped player for England, and scoring the sixth highest amount of Test runs ever.

He played 36 ODIs in his career, and the legendary English batsman scored more than 1000 runs including a century and 9 fifties. He has also struck 84 fours in his ODI career, but his strokes never had the elevation to clear the fence once. His modest strike rate of 53.56 in ODIs could seem to be the reason of him being unable to hit a maximum.
