When Kohli and others showed their concern for Chennai

In late 2015, Chennai experienced arguably its worst hour, when floods completely derailed normal life in the city. At such a distressing time, cricketers from the Indian team came out in support of those affected by it, that included the likes of Virat Kohli, Ajinkya Rahane and others.
“I would like to dedicate this victory to the victims affected by the Chennai floods. I think that’s been a very unfortunate few weeks and my thoughts go out to all the people who have lost their family members.
“The family members of some of our players (Vijay and Ashwin) were also stuck in one place for long time, for them to come out and play, shows commendable character. I hope it (victory) brings some joy to the people of Chennai,” Kohli had said at the time, after the team had defeated South Africa 3-0 at home.
