#2 Hat-trick and century in the same Test

It is a new kind of record. It is a new chapter in cricket history. Sohag Gazi, Bangladesh's right-arm spinner, did it against New Zealand back in 2013 in Chittagong. Before he did it, there was no instance of a hat-trick and century in the same Test by the same cricketer.

In the first innings of the Chittagong Test, New Zealand scored a big total of 469. Kane Williamson and BJ Watling were the batsmen to hit a ton each for the Kiwis. Bangladesh replied with an even bigger total of 501 runs. Despite the failure f two openers Tamim Iqbal (0) and Anamul Haque (3), Bangladesh managed to score 500 with the great effort of Mominul Haque (181) and Gazi (101). He also scored that ton batting at number eight.

In the second innings of New Zealand, Gazi took six wickets for 77. While taking six-wicket haul, he dismissed three Kiwi batsmen in a row in the 83rd over of their innings, and the batsmen were Corey Anderson, BJ Watling and Doug Bracewell.
