It is a 17-year-old's record that Bangladesh are still cheering for. Mohammad Ashraful, the right-handed batsman of the Tigers, hit a stunning ton on the Test debut against Sri Lanka. That was a point of time when Bangladesh were often considered as the minnows in the cricketing world. So naturally, Ashraful's century came as an occasion of a mini-festival to the cricket-mad nation.

Though Ashraful lost his dignity for his involvement in the spot-fixing and match-fixing scandal during the Bangladesh premier league in 2013, his achievement in the Test debut is still inspiring for many young cricketers of the country.
