The South African wicket-keeper acted as the wicket-keeper batsman for Delhi Daredevils in 2016. He had scored 445 runs in 13 games that he played at an average of 37.08 with a strike-rate of 136.08. Quinton De Kock registered his only IPL century against Royal Challengers Bangalore in IPL 2016.

In the 11th match of IPL 2016, batting first, Royal Challengers Bangalore managed to post a huge total of 191 for 5 on the board. With the help of Virat Kohli’s 79, AB de Villiers’ 55 and Shane Watson’s 33, RCB put the pressure on Delhi Daredevils in the first inning.
