#1 Shivam Dubey
Probably, the much-awaited bid among the hundreds of talented, uncapped Indian cricketers at the 2019 IPL auctions will be that of this 25-year-old all-rounder from Mumbai. At the 2018 auctions, he went unsold with a base price of INR 20 lakhs.
But Dubey's fortunes are sure to change come December 18th, as his all-round performance in the domestic circuit has grabbed the attention of many in the Indian cricketing fraternity.
Having made his T20 debut for Mumbai during the 2015-16 Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy, the southpaw has so far played 13 T20s, scoring 189 runs at a strike-rate of 147.65 while picking up 10 wickets.
Dubey's big-hitting abilities came into limelight when he whacked five sixes in an over off leggie Pravin Tambe, during the eliminator game of inaugural Mumbai T20 league earlier this year.
He played for the eventual runners-up, Shivaji Park Lions. Dubey was adjudged the Player of the Tournament for his splendid all-round display, scoring 213 runs while picking 11 wickets with the league's best figures of 5/24.
His recent performances in the ongoing 2018-19 Ranji Trophy season have been exceptional, where he has scored 376 runs in four matches with his best score being 114 (two half-centuries and two centuries).
The right-arm medium fast bowler has 16 wickets to his name so far in this Ranji season, with best figures of 7/53. A hard hitter and a valuable bowler, Dubey is sure to rule the roost at the 2019 IPL Auctions given his all-round credentials and recent form.
