Mahela Jayawardene - 3

Former Sri Lankan captain and world-class middle-order batsman Mahela Jayawardene has scored runs in every country he has played, against any opposition bowler and in any climate. A patient, intelligent batsmen with the ability to frustrate bowlers for long spells, Jayawardene scored runs at a steady pace, always interested in flustering the opposition.
A fierce competitor and humble personality, Jayawardene was a strong batsman who could play any cricketing shot in the book. During his nearly 20-year long career, Jayawardene has played over a hundred tests and four hundred ODI's for Sri Lanka.
Tendulkar has picked up the Sri Lankan's wicket three times in his career and fought it out for top honours many times, the last being the 2011 ODI WC final in Mumbai, where India beat Sri Lanka to win their 2nd WC title.
In the early 2000's, the Master Blaster produced arguably the greatest catch he has ever taken off his own bowling in his career to dismiss Mahela Jayawardene in an ODI game against Sri Lanka.
