Known for his elegant stroke-play, Ricky Ponting was an integral member of the Australian side which lifted the World Cup in 1999, 2003 and 2007. Australia won 262 of the 375 ODIs that he was a part of.
During this period, he scored 10738 runs from 13036 balls at an average of 49.03, including 69 fifties and 25 hundreds. Also, his slip catching and close-in fielding received praise from cricketing experts all over the world.
