#3 Brian Lara (West Indies/ICC) - 1559 fours
The man with the record of the highest individual score in Test cricket and the only man to get to the 400 run milestone in international cricket, Brian Lara was the poster boy of West Indies cricket in the 1990s and 2000s.
Considered to be as good as Sachin, Lara finished with 11953 runs from 131 matches. He had a batting average of 52.89 and a highest of 400* against England.
Lara had 34 hundreds to his name along with 48 fifties. The former Caribbean skipper hit 1559 fours in his career. His 88 sixes are the highest in this list and the second highest among West Indians.
#2 Rahul Dravid (India/ICC) - 1654 fours
Nicknamed "The Wall", Rahul Dravid will go down as someone whose career was slightly overshadowed by Sachin's. One of India's most technically sound batsman, Dravid won Test series in both West Indies and England as a skipper. He scored 13288 runs, the second most by an Indian, from 164 matches at an average of 52.31.
Known for his patience and composure on the field, Dravid has 36 Test hundreds along with 63 fifties, with a highest of 270. With 1654 fours, Dravid stands second in this list.
He also holds the record for most number of catches by a non-wicket-keeper.
#1 Sachin Tendulkar (India) - 2058 fours
Like most batting charts in international cricket, this list is topped by the man with 100 international hundreds. Sachin Tendulkar, in his illustrious career of 24 years, played a record 200 Tests and scored an aggregate of 15921 runs, the most, in Test cricket. He averaged 53.79 in 200 matches.
The only man to score more than 50 hundreds in Tests, Sachin finished with 51 hundreds and 68 fifties, the most in Test cricket, with the highest score of 248*. With 2058 fours, Sachin is the only man to hit more than 2000 boundaries in Tests, along with 69 sixes.
Regarded widely as the greatest batsman of his era, Sachin's records are something which will take an astounding career to be broken.
