James Anderson
Even after becoming the highest wicket-taking fast bowler of all time, Anderson shows no signs of slowing down and is continuing his good work for England. At 36, Anderson is at the business end of his career, but still has enough craft left in him to make it to the list of the greatest fast bowlers in the world. He usually is at his best in the cold and wet English weather and damp surfaces as it gives him the opportunity to swing the ball both ways. His 565 Test wickets from 145 Test matches are a testimony to his undeniable guile and hard-work.
Anderson took a bagful of wickets against India in a home series in 2018. He also bowled brilliantly in Sri Lanka, especially with the old ball, when the conditions were completely averse to pace bowling. He has taken 43 wickets in this calendar year and continues to be an inspiration to the young fast bowlers all over the world. He might retire in 2019 itself but still remains the benchmark for quality swing bowling.

Subhadeep Roy
Subhadeep, an adept tennis journalist at Sportskeeda, has been writing about the sport for seven years. He is known for his exclusive match reviews and opinion pieces, utilizing his MBA degree to tackle them effectively with his problem-solving abilities.
Subhadeep lives and breathes tennis. He watches matches regularly and engages in social media platforms to stay on top of the latest happenings. As a writer, he brings the fan's perspective to his pieces, ensuring his readers enjoy an exceptional experience every time.
Growing up, he idolized Boris Becker, but he now firmly believes Novak Djokovic stands alone as the 'Greatest of all Time', especially considering the 24-time Grand Slam champion's incredible stats. When not working for Sportskeeda, Subhadeep delves into the other "love of his life": football, and enjoys contributing his insights to different websites dedicated to the sport.
