#3 329 vs New Zealand - 1st Test, New Zealand tour of Pakistan at Lahore, 1-3 May 2002
Inzamam-ul-Haq's monumental 329 against New Zealand at Lahore in 2002 was the talented batsman's highest score in Test cricket and gave little chance for the visitors to recover in a contest which was over in just three days.
The Black Caps had no answer to Inzamam's merciless batting display as he spent nearly ten hours at the crease, smashing as many as 38 boundaries and 9 sixes to help Pakistan post a mammoth total of 643 in the first innings.
New Zealand were skittled out for just 73 runs in the first innings and not surprisingly, were made to follow on. They fared slightly better second time around, scoring 246 runs, but it was a no-contest right from Day 1 as the hosts won the contest by an innings and 324 runs.
Inzamam deservedly won the Man-of-the-Match award and the knock of 329 is still Pakistan's second-highest individual score in Test cricket behind Hanif Mohammad's 337 against the West Indies in 1958.
