Inzamam batted bravely with the tail to quash Bangladesh's quest for a famous win

When Bangladesh visited Pakistan in 2003 for a three-match Test series, they had lost 20 of their 21 Test matches till date and after losing the first two matches, it seemed obvious that they would lose the third and final Test as well.

But the visitors had other ideas as a brilliant team effort put them nearly on the brink of a famous victory to add to their 1999 World Cup success over the same opponents.

However, Inzamam stood firm with a defying knock of 138 in the second innings, batting along with the tail to help Pakistan chase down the target of 262 with one wicket in hand.

Cruel for the Bangladesh team no doubt but it was a truly heroic knock that showcased Inzamam's match-winning skills to the fullest.
