It came as a surprise to many when spearhead Ishant Sharma replaced Bhuvaneshwar Kumar for the second test match in the ongoing Indian tour of South Africa. Unfortunately, the IPL franchisees did not put their faith in him and he went unsold in the recently held auction. Luckily for him, he will join Sussex for the first two months of the 2018 county season, subject to BCCI approval.

Bryan Ruiz is an attacking midfielder who is the captain of the Costa Rica national football team. He has earned over a hundred caps for Costa Rica and netted 23 goals.
