Ajay Thakur and Yuvraj Singh
When you think of Indian players who deliver at the biggest stage, you can't go much further than Yuvraj Singh, when it comes to cricket. The all-rounder was an integral part of India's World T20 triumph in 2007 where he hit six sixes in an over off Stuart Broad and claimed the Man of the Series award in the 2011 World Cup which India won at home.
When it comes to Kabaddi, Ajay Thakur is that man for India. In the 2016 Kabaddi World Cup, he was the Best Raider and scored 12 points in the final against Iran that India won 38-29. He was also part of the victorious Indian side in the 2014 Asian Games where they won the Gold medal.
When it comes to delivering when it matters most for their country, both Thakur and Yuvraj are one of the best the sport has ever seen. Both are tall players who make the most of their advantage. With Yuvraj, it is the elegant flicks and the big hits that go a mile even when it seems as though he didn't hit it too hard, while for Thakur, it is his reach that helps him claim points that other players dare not even attempt.
Thakur was the priority pick for the Tamil Thalaivas in the 2017 season of Pro Kabaddi and Yuvraj has been one of the most sought-after players in the IPL ever since its inception. While both players are one of the best to have represented their country in the sport, their domestic form isn't always up to the mark. Yuvraj Singh has consistently been amongst the most expensive buys in IPL but hasn't always delivered on a consistent basis and the same could be said for Ajay Thakur, who provides bursts of brilliance but never consistently for his club.
