Shimron Hetmyer is the next big thing in West Indies cricket. The young Guyanese batsman has made a sensational start to his international career hitting 4 centuries in 24 ODI matches.

On the virtue of these impressive numbers, Hetmyer was bought by RCB for 4.2 crores at the auction for IPL 2019. Hetmyer was expected to be at his belligerent best and form the core of RCB's batting along with Virat Kohli and Ab de Villiers.
However, the 22-year-old has failed to perform as per his reputation and has looked completely out of sorts in the IPL so far. In 4 matches Hetmyer has scored just 15 runs and is one of the major reasons for RCB's dismal performance this year.
This was definitely not the kind of performance RCB expected from Hetmyer and it won't be a surprise if he is dropped from the playing XI.
