#4 Adam Gilchrist

One of the most feared batsmen of his generation and an equal amiable personality off the field, Adam Gilchrist played for Deccan Chargers and Kings XI Punjab.
After being a regular feature in the first six editions and also leading the Chargers to the title in 2009, Gilchrist finally announced that the 2013 edition would be his last.
Playing at Dharamsala in his last IPL match, Punjab were cruising to victory as Mumbai had to score an improbable 50 runs off the last over.
Just to enjoy his last moments on the cricket field, Gilchrist handed over the keeper's gloves to Praveen Kumar and came on to bowl for the first and last time in such a long career.
In one of IPL's most memorable moments, the Aussie veteran picked up the last Mumbai wicket, that of Harbhajan Singh, with his very first ball and went into a child-like celebration.
His envious bowling stats read Wickets:1, Avg.:0.0, SR:1.0, Econ.:0.00, Best:1/0.
