#2 Sourav Ganguly
Sourav Ganguly is one of the greatest skipper of all-time. He was known for his ability to hit sixes on the off-side with ease and contributed with the ball on umpteen occasions. He played in 311 matches and amassed 11363 runs at an average of 41.02, including 72 fifties and 22 hundreds. He was a right arm medium bowler and picked up 100 scalps in ODIs.
In the 1999 Pepsi Cup, India got destroyed in the first match by Pakistan and were desperate for a win. In the second ODI against Sri Lanka, Ganguly played a very composed knock, scoring 130 off 160, with just 5 fours and 2 sixes. Dravid too chipped in with a century and India posted a total of 287-4 on the board in 50 overs.
When Sri Lanka came out to chase down the total, Ganguly ripped through the middle and lower-middle order, picking up 4 wickets for 21 runs in four overs. Sourav was rightly adjudged the Man of the Match for his all-round performance.
