#2 India vs West Indies, Trinidad, 2002
A series completely overpowered by rain saw the first two matches being abandoned out of a possible five. But the series still became exciting as it went into the deciding game to find out a winner.
India batted first and posted a challenging 260 on the board. Captain Sourav Ganguly scored a well made 56 but Sachin Tendulkar top scored with an industrious knock of 65. Merv Dillion took 5 wickets while Chris Gayle took 3.
The rain delay made it a 44 over game and things were made even more difficult for West Indies as they now needed 248 from 44 overs. They never looked cut out for the run chase and were eventually bowled out for just 191.
A brilliant bowling effort led India to their first ever series win in the Carribean as Sourav Ganguly and his men wrote their name in the history books.
