The Australian is one of the very few cricketers who mastered every format of the game. Michael Hussey was phenomenal for Australia is both Tests and ODIs with 6235 runs and 5442 runs respectively. Having made his Test debut at the Gabba on 3 November 2005, Hussey scored a hundred in just his second Test.

With 19 hundreds and 29 fifties, Hussey managed an average of over 50 in Test match cricket. For a cricketer of his caliber, Hussey never managed a double hundred in his career. His highest score in Test match cricket is 195, which he scored against England at Brisbane during the 2010/11 series. Throughout his career, Hussey is known for his remarkable batting with tail-enders.
