Mark Waugh is one of the most prolific Australian cricketers of all-time. Waugh made his Test match debut on 25 January 1991 at Adelaide. Waugh became the fifteenth Australian to make a century on debut when he scored a brilliant 138 in his first Test match innings. He went on to play 128 Tests and 244 One Day Internationals for Australia from 1988 to 2002.

Mark Waugh has scored 8029 runs in his Test match career at an average of 41.81, which included 20 hundreds and 47 fifties. Unfortunately, he has never scored a double hundred for Australia in his 209 innings. Mark Waugh's highest Test match score of 153* came against India at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bangalore.
