A historical ground for Sri Lankan cricket, Premadasa is the ground where Jayasuriya and Mahanama put together that famous world record partnership of 576 runs.
Premadasa stadium hosted its first ODI match in 1986. The ground has a seating capacity of 35,000. Till date, it has hosted 125 One Day International matches.
