#4 Virat Kohli (Royal Challengers Bangalore) - 530 runs
The bar set by the run machine - Virat Kohli is so high that a season in which he scored more than 500 runs is termed as some sort of a failure by some. Coming into the tournament in exquisite form, Virat was expected to take apart the bowling attacks in this season of the IPL - like he had done two years ago when he had slammed 973 runs in the 2016 edition.
Although Kohli failed to reach those heights, he did not have a bad season this year. He accumulated 530 runs in 14 matches this year at a stunning average of 48.18 and a strike rate of 139.11. He hit four half-centuries this season with his highest score being his unbeaten 92 against the Mumbai Indians.
