#4 Barinder Sran

Barinder Sran was considered the solution to India's never-ending quest for a left-arm pacer ever since the retirement of legendary pacer Zaheer Khan. Despite making strong starts as a bowler, Sran couldn't capitalize on his steady start as he seemed to leak too many runs in the middle overs which aren't ideal for any bowler or team.
In the 6 matches he played in this year's IPL, he conceded 229 runs at an economy rate of 10.40. Also, he couldn't manage to take any more than 4 wickets.
He hasn't donned a blue jersey since 2016. As India's renowned modern era left arm pacers Jaydev Unadkat and Barinder Sran have been far from being effective, the selectors have moved on from their search for left-arm pacers and have found able replacements in right arm bowlers.
