The left-arm chinaman bowler who played for the India U-19 in 2014, was picked up by the Mumbai Indians when he was just a little over 17 years of age, in the 2012 edition of the IPL.

However, the Indian bowling sensation did not get to feature in even a single game despite making headlines for bamboozling Sachin Tendulkar with his googly in the nets.

In the 2014 edition, the 23-year-old was snapped up by the Kolkata Knight Riders where he still failed to get a look-in for two full seasons. He finally found some game time in the 2016 edition, playing three games, and returned with six wickets, at an average of 16.67.
