One of the most successful limited-overs batsmen in the world, Mahendra Singh Dhoni is a legendary figure in Indian cricket. He became only the second Indian captain after Kapil Dev to win a World Cup for India.

Dhoni has also won World T20 and ICC Champions Trophy for India during his captaincy tenure. He found a lot of success as a player and also as a captain.

Dhoni has played 327 One Day Internationals for India so far and scored 10123 runs at an average of 50.61. With 10 hundreds and 67 fifties, Dhoni has single-handedly won games for India in ODIs.

Dhoni has represented India in three World Cups and played 17 games. Though he has scored 507 runs at an average of 42.25, he has never managed to score hundred in a World Cup game.
