India are likely to be taking only two all-rounders for their World Cup campaign. Considering the fact that Hardik Pandya and Ravindra Jadeja have already impressed everyone with their all-round skills, Krunal will most likely miss out the flight for this World Cup.

India will not need two spin bowling allrounders as the pitches in England will not assist spinners much. With Kedhar Jadhav in the squad, India has another off-spin option to bowl 4-5 overs, if the need arises.

However, Krunal can focus on the World T20 happening in Australia in 2020. The MI all-rounder has improved a lot with his batting and bowling in the past two years. His ability to bowl tight lines will come in handy in hard Australian pitches. Also, he fits into T20I team more seamlessly than into the ODI team.

Krunal has two IPL tournaments (IPL-12 and IPL -13) to hone his skills further before the World T20.
