#4 Rohit Sharma

This will be a comeback series for Rohit Sharma - if he is picked in the XI for any of the matches.
Rohit played his last Test during the South African tour and was dropped after two matches. This series will be very important for Rohit as it could be his last Test series if he doesn't perform.
Rohit would want to cement his place in the Test team and the Australian pitches will suit his batting as well. His performance on the last Australian tour was not impressive but this time he would hope to turn things around with his attacking batting.
Undoubtedly Rohit Sharma is one of the best white ball batsmen but he is yet to prove himself in the longest form of the game. It will be worthwhile keeping a close eye on Rohit during the Australian tour.
#3 Rishabh Pant

Rishabh Pant will be the first choice for the wicketkeeper spot on this tour. He scored two 90+ scores in the home series against West Indies, to follow up the century he slammed in the last match of the England tour.
Pant will surely want to continue his form on the Australian tour as well. He just needs to work on his wicket-keeping because his glove-work on the England tour was not very good.
Pant would want to cement his place in the Indian Test side by performing well as a wicket-keeper batsman. So he will be a player to watch out for in the series against Australia.
