The youngster was also in good form in the recently-concluded series against Windies A, scoring 210 runs from 4 innings at an average of 52.5 which included 2 half centuries. Rohit Sharma's below-par record in overseas Test matches may help Karun's case as well. By picking him for the Afghanistan Test, selectors hinted at his possible comeback in the Test team.
