England Lions v India A - Day Two
100 on Ranji debut, Irani debut, next Tendulkar?

India's teenage sensation Prithvi Shaw has been in the news for quite some time now. After leading India to the U-19 World Cup victory in New Zealand, Prithvi has been enjoying his time. He was picked by the Delhi Daredevils in the IPL where he played some fantastic knocks. It's a pleasure to watch Prithvi bat when he gets going, much like his idol Sachin Tendulkar.

Shaw has displayed his flamboyance in the last few months, he has scored extensively for India A in First Class cricket. Alongside his opening partner, Mayank Agarwal, Shaw has made a few wonderful partnerships. In 14 first class games, Shaw has scored 1418 runs at a breathtaking average of 56.72 with a strike rate of 76.69. Owing to this, Shaw was selected in India's squad for the final two tests against England.

He did not get an opportunity in these two Tests but the plight of the Indian openers in this series might allow Shaw to make his debut in the two games against the Windies.
