Mulani was one the leading wicket-takers in the Vijay Hazare Trophy for 2018. He picked up 17 wickets at an average of 20.29. He was also the most economical bowler for Mumbai. The left-arm orthodox spinner has been picking up wickets very consistently for Mumbai this season.

The youngster made his List A debut against Madhya Pradesh earlier this year. He has combined well with Dhawal Kulkarni who picked up 18 wickets in the tournament. He looked very dangerous in the first six overs he bowled in the semi-finals of the Vijay Hazare against Hyderabad where the batsmen found it very difficult to pick him.

With his performances at the domestic circuit, he was awarded a place in the India Emerging team for the Emerging Teams' Asia Cup 2018. He continued with his tight bowling in the Emerging Teams' Asia Cup against Sri Lanka and Pakistan, picking a wicket in each game and bowling with an economy rate of under 4.50. His base price is 20 lakhs and will definitely be attracting quite a few teams with his orthodox spin.
