2.Munaf Patel-2
Considered to be one of the underrated heroes of India’s 2011 World Cup triumph, Munaf Patel has tasted a fair bit of success in the IPL as well, winning two titles, one each with the Rajasthan Royals and the Mumbai Indians.
In 2008, the Royals entered the competition as complete underdogs but under the inspired leadership of Shane Warne, punched above their weights to overturn every prediction against their favour to seal a memorable triumph against the Chennai Super Kings in front of a packed D.Y.Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai.
Patel bagged 14 wickets in 15 matches, playing a key role along with the likes of Sohail Tanvir and Siddharth Trivedi to take his team all the way in the season.
Then 5 years later, Patel, this time playing for the Mumbai Indians won his title but did not play as big a role as he did in 2013, playing a mere 4 matches and picking up 3 wickets. It is also the last season where he featured in the multi-team League.
