#3 Mohit Sharma
Until almost a year ago, Mohit Sharma used to be a regular for India in limited-overs cricket and was one of skipper MS Dhoni’s trusted soldiers. The Haryana bowler has played 26 ODIs and 8 T20Is since making his international debut in an ODI against Zimbabwe in 2013.
Mohit performed quite well on Australian pitches during the 2015 ICC World Cup and claimed 13 wickets in 8 matches at an average of just over 24. However, his performances hit a low in the ODI series against South Africa at home last year and he has not made it back to the Indian team ever since.
The medium-pacer, though, looks to be in terrific form at the moment as he has contributed heavily to Haryana’s success in the 2016/17 Ranji Trophy so far. In the 4 matches that he has played so far, Mohit Sharma has picked up 16 wickets at an average of 13.56 with best innings figures of 5 for 26.
