#1 Bowler with the most number of bowled dismissals
In T20s, a bowler is more likely to take wickets by getting the batsman caught either in the outfield or on the boundary line because more often than not, it’s the case of a batsman giving away his wicket while trying to hit boundaries than the bowler deceiving him.
However, there is one bowler who has taken 41% of his IPL wickets by getting the batsman bowled.
Lasith Malinga of Mumbai Indians, who is arguably the greatest bowler in the history of IPL, has 154 wickets to his name. On 63 of those 154 instances, he knocked the batsman over while on 71 occasions he got the batsman caught.
63 bowled dismissals seem even more astonishing when you realize the second best bowler in terms of bowled wickets has only 34 of them.
Malinga was known for his deadly yorkers during the death overs and had extremely deceptive slower balls. It was the reason why he knocked over so many batsmen.
