David Hussey was one of the most talked about cricketers in the Australian domestic circuit during his late 20s and early 30s, but never made it big in Australia in international cricket. He has played only 69 ODIs and 39 T20Is for his country.

Hussey has played 267 Twenty20 games his career and scored more than 6000 runs. He has also picked up 68 wickets. A talented middle-order batsman who played 192 first-class games and scored 14280 runs, he was never selected for the Australian Test team.

He retired with the highest first-class batting average (52.50) of any Australian cricketer never to have played a Test Match. Really unlucky indeed.
