Sarah Jane Taylor is an English cricketer. She is a wicketkeeper-batswoman who usually bats at the top of the order in the shorter formats and bats in the middle in the longer format.

Taylor is known for her quick-fire batting. Her capacity to accelerate from 0 to 60 in double quick time is a rare quality. She was the youngest woman cricketer to score 1000 runs in ODIs when she scored them at the age of 19 years 103 days back in 2008. Sarah was a crucial member of the England women's team that retained the Ashes in Australia.

She has shattered the record for the highest opening partnership in women’s ODI cricket with a stand of 268 with Caroline Atkins at Lord’s against South Africa. Taylor scored 129 in that in that historic stand.
