Kainat Imtiaz is an international cricketer who represents Pakistan Women's National Cricket Team in One Day Internationals and T20 Internationals.

She is a fast bowler who idolizes veteran India fast bowler Jhulan Goswami. Kainat is known for her penetrative swing bowling at the start of the innings to dent the opposition.

With her idiosyncratic hairband on the field, the 26-year-old has been a trendsetter of late.

Kainat met Jhulan Goswami during the 2005 Women's Asia Cup in Pakistan and made up her mind to become a fast bowler. At the age of 10, she represented Karachi Blues in a hardball tournament organized by Pakistan Cricket Board in 2005.

With her taking wickets of even the experienced players with her impressive fast bowling, she was recommended for the Regional Cricket team but due to her tender age, she was then rejected by the coach.

Later she won the Player of the Tournament award in the U-17 tourney organized by PCB and got a chance to play of Pakistan A team. With her consistent performances at the A level cricket, she made her T20I and ODI debuts in 2010 and 2011 respectively.

Thus far, Kainat played eight ODIs and seven T20Is for Pakistan women's cricket team and picked up seven wickets in all formats combined.
