The Indian quick Ishant Sharma and the Pakistani wicket-keeper Kamran Akmal entered into a heated argument in a T20 match in Bangalore.

The clash resulted in the 18th over of the chase as the pressure was building up on both the players. Earlier the same over, Kamran was declared not out after he was caught off a no ball by Ishant who again beat him on the next ball.

In consequence, the two exchanged words in the follow-through and soon found themselves only inches apart from each other. Both the ground umpires and the players had to intervene to clear the air.

Later, both Kamran Akmal and Ishant Sharma were fined 5% and 15% of their match fees respectively.
